White House Unveils Plan to Fight Antibiotic-Resistant Germs (via ABC News)

The White House announced a five-year plan to fight the threat posed by antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The plan is the result of an order President Obama signed in September forming a task force on the issue. While focusing on human health, the plan also addresses animal use of antibiotics and supports FDA’s current plan of action.
